I have been transitioning Owen from SNOO to crib t

I have been transitioning Owen from SNOO to crib this week. It's not being going as well I had hoped it would. I began by trying to have him sleep all his day naps in the crib, then after 4 days of him sleeping for only 20 minutes per nap, and regressing back to 4 naps a day and ending up exhausted at the end of the day, I realised I should have perhaps done things differently. ⁠Instead I should have started with just one nap in the crib, then gradually increased crib naps per day. That way he would have been getting enough day sleep, and would have made the transition easier on him, perhaps.

In the week prior to the crib transition, he would nap 1-2 hours per nap on 2 out of 3 naps a day! (After doing a Sleep Schedule Shift). Prior to that, he has been sleeping only 40 mins a nap since about 2 or 3 months old. As a newborn, he naped 2-3 hours a nap! I used to worry that he was napping too long.
